But for mowing strips, both edgings and kerbs must be bedded into a medium intensity concrete foundation. The tip of the kerb should be 100 mm above the ground surface on most applications. In addition, when kerbs are put too far, it can cause kerb shyness, which reduces the width of the carriageway.
