Road Groove Cutter

Groove Cutting is a procedure for providing control joints in roads to direct cracks along a predetermined line and to better accommodate material movement while avoiding cracking and long-term damage, and a Road Groove Cutteris used for this purpose. Uncontrolled road cracking can result in an irregular surface that is prone to increased wear over time, as well as water seepage that can degrade the substrate. While crack forming is almost impossible to avoid, it can be managed. The aim of the Groove Cutting is to soften the slab along the predetermined line so that it fractures there rather than elsewhere.
